Adding a Little Bit of Flair


I loved this shoot! When I come into a photoshoot I want my clients to feel comfortable, and be themselves! I truly believe that if the client is having fun the photos are bound to turn out amazing, and that is exactly what happened here! Giulana had multiple different outfit choices and two different locations with completely different "aesthetics", but that was her!  The locations and outfit choices matched the different personalities that she has. She is bright and bubbly, with a little bit of sass, and a flair of old country rock.

J-Lo + K-pop = Magical Pictures


The first location was shot at a parking garage because we wanted an edgy vibe going into the first part of the shoot. I wanted the feel to be "J-lo meets k-pop" with baggy jeans, big hoop earrings, and of course, converse. To pick poses I went to Pinterest for inspiration, but when I actually got on site a realized how cool we could make this space to be. Taking pictures at different low angles and having Giulana climb to higher places highlighted her face structure and gave her that edgy feel we were looking for. I'm just glad she was down for whatever I threw her way!

The Country Meets the Girl


The second location was shot at a local park with a HUGE grass field. She originally didn't know what style of photography she wanted to go with, so we went with two different locations to accommodate what she thought was her. This grass field made for excellent pictures. I really wanted a blank canvas when it came to some of her senior pictures because I wanted to showcase Giulana, and not the location the pictures were being taken at.

The first outfit change was into a white dress with hoop earring and block heels. I noticed that this really brightened her face up and created a timeless look. I believe she'll look back on these pictures in the future and really appreciate how amazing she looked as a teenager. I mean seriously...the girl is model material. The second outfit change was honestly a shock to me. I grew up with Giulana and had no idea how much she loves cowgirl stuff, but man, the turquoise dress, cowgirl hat and boots were so gorgeous.

She really became comfortable in front of the camera during this part of the shoot and we had some fun. Having the cowboy hat as a prop sparked inspiration for new posing and created a completely different feel.

All-in-all I love how these pictures turned out, and I really enjoyed the many sides of Giulana that I got to see! She is so spunky and unique, so I knew the pictures were bound to be great! Congratulations on becoming a senior Giulana, you are going to do amazing things!
