Hi, I am Josie Lane.

I’m a Texas-based (and beyond) photographer with a love for capturing moments that feel genuine, joyful, and a little bit carefree. I’m a military spouse, a nurse, and a very proud daughter—roles that have shaped the way I show up for people, both in life and behind the camera. I also live with Type 1 diabetes, which has given me a deeper perspective and a heart for encouraging and uplifting others who may feel a little different.

At my core, I’m someone who loves people well. Whether it’s through a meaningful conversation or the experience I create for my clients, my goal is always connection first. Photography has become such a special extension of that—it’s where I get to slow things down, find beauty in the in-between, and capture memories that feel honest and full of life. In a world that moves quickly, I’m all about savoring the moment, embracing the joy, and preserving it in a way that feels effortless, intentional, and true to you.
