Some weddings feel polished. Some feel emotional. And then there are weddings like Gabe and Bailey’s—the kind that feel deeply nostalgic, chaotic, and completely centered around what matters most, commitment to God and eachother. Their wedding day in Northern Arkansas was full of faith, laughter, and the kind of memories that only become sweeter with time. Set at the boys camp they both grew up attending, every part of the day felt personal and meaningful from start to finish.
Camp Cabins, Capri Suns & Getting Ready Chaos
the sweetest start to the day
The morning began tucked away in the bridal cabins surrounded by bridesmaids, snacks, laughter, and a little bit of beautiful chaos. One of my favorite details from the entire day ended up being completely unplanned: the Capri Suns.
Bailey, a lifelong Capri Sun lover and proudly picky eater, was snacking with the girls while everyone got ready, when we spontaneously decided to include them in the pajama photos. What started as a random little idea quickly became one of the most personality-filled parts of the morning. It felt playful, nostalgic, and so authentically her.
Between the pastel pajamas, heartfelt laughter, and quiet excitement building throughout the cabin, the entire morning felt like a sleepover with your best friends before the biggest day of your life.
“My Best Buddy”
a first look with dad
Before the ceremony, Bailey shared an emotional first look with her dad that instantly brought tears to everyone nearby. You could immediately feel the closeness between them.
The way he looked at her carried so much pride and tenderness, but more than anything, it felt like he was looking at his best friend stepping into a new season of life. It was one of those moments that didn’t need many words. Just quiet emotion, hugs held a little longer, and the realization that time moves so quickly.
A Covenant Before God
worship woven into the ceremony

One of the most meaningful parts of Gabe and Bailey’s wedding day was how intentionally they centered their marriage around faith.
During the ceremony, the couple shared communion while Bailey’s sister, Brooke, sang a worship song deeply loved by both families. Instead of simply watching the ceremony unfold, their family worshipped alongside them. There was something incredibly powerful about seeing everyone gathered together in prayer and worship—not just celebrating a marriage, but supporting the foundation it was being built on.
The entire ceremony felt sacred in the most genuine way. Not performative. Not rushed. Just deeply rooted in love, faith, and commitment.
Tennis Courts & Unexpected Magic
turning camp corners into art

If you had told me beforehand that some of my favorite bridal portraits from the day would happen on a tennis court, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But somehow, between the Arkansas sunset, the lakeside breeze, and Bailey’s veil catching the light, the tennis courts became one of the dreamiest backdrops imaginable. The portraits felt effortless and cinematic in a way none of us expected.
At one point during portraits, Gabe leaned over and whispered something in Bailey’s ear that immediately made them both burst into laughter. I still have no idea what he said, but honestly, it perfectly captured their relationship. Gabe’s outgoing and playful personality naturally brought out Bailey’s softer, goofy side, and watching them interact felt less like posing and more like simply documenting two best friends having fun.
The Cake Almost Didn’t Make It
a reception story for the books
Arkansas decided to fully remind us it was spring in the South because by reception time, temperatures were pushing nearly 90 degrees.
Halfway through the evening, everyone suddenly realized the cake was beginning to melt. Dancing paused, guests gathered around, and Gabe and Bailey quickly rushed to cut the cake before it completely gave up on us. Honestly? It made the night even better.
The entire reception felt laid back, joyful, and completely unconcerned with perfection. People laughed through the chaos, embraced every unexpected moment, and simply enjoyed being together.
And I think that perfectly describes Gabe and Bailey as a couple.
joyful, rooted, and deeply meaningful
The Kind of Wedding You Feel Long After It Ends
What made this wedding unforgettable wasn’t perfect timelines or curated details—it was the feeling woven throughout the entire day.
It was the nostalgia of returning to a place that shaped so much of their lives. The worship shared during the ceremony. The spontaneous laughter. The melted cake. The tennis court portraits nobody planned for. The Capri Suns in the bridal cabin.
Every part of Gabe and Bailey’s wedding felt honest, lighthearted, and deeply rooted in something bigger than themselves.
And honestly, those are always the most beautiful kinds of weddings to document 🤍
